Thinner diameters of rattan reed are suitable for weaving miniatures, small baskets, and bells, as well as for decorative and floral purposes.

Rattan reed is a natural material, so it is impossible to achieve 100% uniform quality. Although we carry out quality checks every year and work closely with the manufacturer to improve each step of production, packaging, storage, and transport, it is not always possible to prevent a defective strand from being mixed in with high-quality material. It only takes a vine to touch the ground in certain places, and the rattan reed may become brittle and break there.
