Thinner diameters of rattan core are suitable for weaving miniatures, small baskets and bells, as well as for decorative and arrangement purposes.
One package contains approximately 480 meters of rattan core.
Rattan core should be soaked before weaving, preferably in lukewarm water, to make it flexible and prevent breaking. Do not leave the rattan core submerged for too long – it may turn grey and become brittle. After finishing your work, the rattan core must be dried.
Do not store rattan core in light. When stored properly, it can last for more than 5 years.
Rattan core is a natural material, and therefore 100% quality cannot be guaranteed. Although we perform annual quality inspections and continuously improve, together with the manufacturer, every step of production, packaging, storage, and transport, it is impossible to fully prevent a defective rod from appearing among quality material. If the vine touches the ground in some places, the rattan core may break at those points.
