Rattan core weighs 0.20–0.25 kg. The package contains approximately 90 meters, with strand lengths of 0.5 to 2.5 m. Rattan core is suitable for weaving small baskets, home accessories, bells, as well as for decorative and arrangement purposes. After bleaching, rattan core becomes softer and more flexible than natural rattan core. The strands may be frayed. Bleached rattan core is produced in AB quality. Do not store rattan core in direct light. With proper storage, rattan core can be stored for more than 5 years. Rattan core is a natural material, and therefore 100% quality cannot be guaranteed. Even though we carry out annual quality inspections and improve each step of production, packaging, storage, and transportation together with the manufacturer, it is impossible to completely prevent an occasional defective strand from appearing among high-quality material. If the vine touches the ground in some areas, the rattan core may break at those points.

Colours may bleed slightly, so we recommend soaking them separately in cold water and wiping the rattan core with a cloth before weaving. Soak the rattan core in water before weaving, but do not leave it too long. There is a risk that the rattan core will turn grey and become brittle.
